Well I do not like the fact that is supposedly going out of style. I really like flash and i believe its an easy tool to use to enhance what a web page looks like. This allows even the most amateur web designers to ad some really good flair to a web site.

This could give a lot of complaints I see about flash are apple users. I do not hate Apple or the Macs they make, they are very good products , however the only people I see complaining about flash are Apple Users? I don’t think you should get rid a product cause it doesn’t work for them. It really seems selfish. I have not used HTML5 videos with JS and CSS so i can not argue if it is better.

There are several type of web standards consist of HTML, XML, XHTML, and CSS. Well, I know html, I been programming in html about 3 to 4 years of this web script. Html is widely used on the web for add structure to text documents. Where the browser interprets these document by representing the structure in media specific ways for the user. XML is a markup language like to html, but instead of having a single, fixed set of elements, it allows you to define your own or use a set made by someone else. XML also allows using multiple sets within a single document by using XML namespace. XHTML is a reformulation of html and xml applications. XHTML will display in your browser identically to the equivalent HTML. CSS is known as cascading style sheets is a mechanism for changing the appearance of HTML or XML elements, by assigning styles to element types, self-defined classes of elements or individual instances.

Card sorting is a technique that many information architects and use as input to the structure of a site or product.
Its described in a few texts and a number of sites, and most description are brief. Its also very quick, inexpensive ,
and reliable method, which serves as input into your information design process. It generates an overall structure for
your information like form navigation and menus.

The card sorting may not provide a final structure and it can help give answers to previous questions you will be able to
tackle throughtout the information design phase. The question are do the users want to see the information grouped by subject,
process, business group, or information type, how similar are the needs of the different user groups, how different are their

needs, how many potential main categories are there, and what should those groups be called.
The advantages and disadvantage with card sorting varies, so the first thing that I will start with is advantages. Card sorting
advantages has six like being simple its easy for the organizer and the participants, cheap is typically the cost is a stack of 3×5 index cards,
quick to execute is you can perform several sorts in a short period of time, established like being used for over 10 years. The last two are
involving the user like the information structure is based on real user input, and provides a good foundation it provides a good foundation
for the structure of a site of product. Card sorting has four disadvantages are like does not consider users task, result may vary, analysis
can be time consuming and may capture “surface” characteristics only.

When it comes to design features for all web sites is that important characteristics that make the web like
Resolution, design for browsers, web-safe color, graphics compression, and text. Resolution is used in a veriety
of ways by establishing that some definitions that we can make use of or from out. Resolution is important that
each dinmensions that it will display on every browser in the correct size. Design for browers is the interface
people use to interact with information on the web.
Web-safe color is the set of colors that will render consistently in browsers on the two major computer operating systems.
That there is some cross platform web-safte color palette is 216 colors. Graphics compression is used to optimize images
for the web, to make sure they are the appropriate colrs, size, and format to be rendered by the browser. The final important
design features is text is like web-safe color but for fonts, of course, and its relate to the system fonts found on all computers.

The common elements in the designing process there needs to be plan like find out who the client is
and what they do, their target market or user is, their competition, deliverables they want from
web designer, and the really important is the timeframe and budget. There are ideas involved with clear
intructions, logo to reflect new branding, narrow down the packages, clear call to ations, and highlight
the key features of NGD.
The another elements like sketching wireframes and work with illustrator to produce more professional looking
wireframes that I or other can pass onto the client and depending on the project I could produce 1, 2 or 3 wireframes.
If the client is happy with the wireframe it is time to open photoshop and start with a fresh canvas. There are more
process that I could now have a wireframe to build the design over. There key points to mockup that is branding, targeting
audience, grid, and the development. Branding is like tying in wiht the overall of brand, color, and mood. When targeting the
audience for example the age of 20-35yr old people so the it can appeal to them. The Grid is like keeping the elements structure
and the system is important. The final element is the development in mind this has to be produced in css and keep graphics
to a minimal.

In the Photoshop Disasters blog what are some of the more outrageous examples of poor Photoshop editing? What do you think the designer did wrong?

Before photoshop, I’m realy not sure how people altered photos. But I will give a wild guess and please correct me if I’m wrong. I think they cut out something they wanted in one photo and then pasted it manually to another photo and then reprinted it; maybe. I think I’m wrong though.

How much tampering should you do to a magazine picture? Hmm… I’d say I understand airbrushing the photo to an extent. I don’t like it when it’s done so much that their face looks like plastic. If they hide a zit I can understand that to. I don’t think you should give the person a face lift though. That just makes the person look so fake. And I think messing with real beauty is wrong. But I guess some people will do anything to be “the most fairest of them all.”
Tampering with photos to an extent is wrong, and it should be used wisely.

When it come to what appeals to you in web design and the only main things that you should look for is  color and tone of the website, use of graphics, and the quality of the content. But only thing right now that I will talk about  is color and tone of the website and use of graphics.

When it comes to the color and tone of the website, it like when a visitor comes to visit this site for the first time and the first impression hits them from the form.  I won’t say that the impression first is’t important. If the visitor gets the wrong impression that the visitor would think that this website won’t be an unrelible provider.  The tones doesn’t have no fixed tone for a website. The right tone depends on your visitors goal from mature group to a young groug that don’t use colors that isn’t too fanciful and gaud. There the mature colors consist of like brown, blue or gray.

The final thing is how the use of graphics can turn a most broing site to a professional site, or a professional site into an amateur site. If you have the time, make sure you site down together with a web designer to choose the right graphics.

By darken up the white areas so it depending on blending and the difference in value through applied and underlying.

Then theres lighten which the opposite is for the black areas but leaves the underlying pixels won’t change. Contrast can change the percent of gray pixels which leaves a defferent effect, and comparative is black by looking at each channel along with subtracting the underlying color form the overlying color or opposite which gives a higher result in brightness.

Finally, the core of sharpen ones photo or image which is HSL mode and it effects by the hue, saturation, color, and luminosity. Hues can create different results in color by brightness and saturation. And what does saturation do is similar to hue, but it creates different results in color by brightness and hue. The luminosity and color plays a key role by the results from color with the hue and saturation of the underlying color and the luminosity of the overlying color.
